Volunteer

Do you have a few hours to spare each week?

There are a number of different volunteering opportunities available.

In-house jobs  - packing bags, stacking shelves, tidying up, making coffee, emptying bins etc. There are always jobs to do, many of them vital but unglamorous! 

Deliveries - go out at the same day/time each week so that clients know when to expect delivery. We also have a list of 'stand in' drivers who take on deliveries when the regular drivers are absent.

An in-between role is shopping - every day requires some specific shopping to be done, which is usually best done between 0830 and 1030, before shops get busy.

We also need to carry out a supermarket sweep, daily, collecting the donations from Morrisons and Tesco.

Volunteers may be asked to help collecting and organising the food and/or assisting with the daily running of the distribution point.
